Pune on My Mind


Taking a break from a normal routine life and spending time with family is something which I and infact most of us really cherish. This time even my mumma took off and we both were away for a week which made it more amazing as she hardly take any off from her hectic and super occupied schedule.

In this week we met many of our relatives, friends and spend quality time with the loved ones so it was full of beautiful, unforgettable vivid and most of all the heartwarming memories. Pune , Poo-neh or Poona has always been special place for me, the only reason was - my brother choosed the city to reside so out of curiosity to know what made him choose it made the place quite special to me.

This trip was a lot different from what I thought it would be. This trip got me thinking about Pune a lot more than ever before. As it is always precious to catch up with your sibling. I believe he is the Greatest Grace of God thus far, sharing the same last name with someone like him is heaven. Such word "Brother" and "Best friend" is never enough to define him.



Knocking any city with parents will always take you to the city's famous pilgrimages. So the trip outing began with visiting Shreemant Dagduseth Halwai Ganapati temple "koi be shubh kam karne se pehle ganesh ji ko yad kartien hai" might be the reason for it. Which later continue with Shiv temple, Gurudaware and ended with church. The day was completely devoted to god and various temples.




So much of worship was done so now the time was spared to explore the historic place  and the hunt was started with one of the famous Shaniwar Wada which was once the Peshwa's castle. The next we choose to visit was the sinhgad fort perfect scenic beauty and the night show inside was remarkable. Staying in Pink city gave me one of the quality to love forts as the Pink city itself has many .






The Trip would have been incomplete if we came back without visiting to any of water fall so my brother took us to Baneshwar Waterfall it was lord shiv's temple ,this place is popular as pleasant picnic spot, ample walkways, open garden area and scenic waterfall behind the temple is the crowd puller. The waterfall few kilometers away from temple is magnificent. We invested our entire day there.


Apart from these places the city gifted me with best treasure which is my Elder Brother , stealing him from everyone and keeping him for myself made the trip most astonishing as he had been away from us since last seven years and spending quality time with him is one of the best part of our life (mom and mine )


That's what pune is- some natural beauty , some modernization, some growth , some friends and lots of memories . May be someday I would come back to Pune on just another visit.... May be someday I will be there again...

And finally journey which began with train and ended by landing via plan.

Now seems like a good a time as any to just say thank you. Thank you for always being there for me and for our family when we needed it. MAA .. the first word fumbles to utter when he tries to speak. Yes, it is she "the Mother" who is closest person to the new born baby. He recognize the soft touch of the  mother's affectionate hand even though when he doesnt understand. The very soft touch of her makes the child understand that she is someone who care for him.
