It's time to hit the Road and see it all

Later or sooner we all deserve a break from our everyday lives and there is no other thing better than savoring a smart and simple gateway! Because money and time constantly remain at the peak of the menu, we have placed together with few of our preferred road trips that are comfortable and won’t break the bar.

So as per the selection Pushkar was the first leg of our journey through one of the most traditional and colorful states in India, Rajasthan.

"Pushkar is a quiet Rajasthani town, 11 km from Ajmer and 2 hours from Jaipur. It is a pilgrimage spot "famous for its origins through Lord Brahma", Because Pushkar is a spiritual place for so many, you can’t help but feel it’s ambiance. It’s calming, colorful, tranquil, and timeless.

For Hindu people, Pushkar would be most well-known for the only Brahma temple in the world. He’s the creator of earth… so it’s worth checking it out!

"Padharo Mare desh"

We drove from jaipur, with an excellent 4 lane highway all the way to Pushkar. About an hour drive we stopped by a dhaba for a cup of tea and can call for brunch. We reached Pushkar around 4:30pm, with all our halts and fun throughout the journey. We avoided going via Ajmer as the road from Ajmer to Pushkar is single lane and goes through small hills, so just to avoid the drive we took the express highway.

We first headed towards the hotel , looked for few options and as per our concern , none of us wanted to stay in proper luxurious room instead wanted to stay in tents or cottage. After an hour hunt we settled at Pushar Camp and Resort "the perfect place for our holiday". Everything from the resort was within 15kms of radius
PS: The food is super delicious and service is also good.
Looking for a peaceful stay and foodie than the Pushkar camp and resort is an apt placed.

After doing a quick check-in, we headed towards the ghats. It’s said that pushkar lake was created from lord Bharma's lotus flower and that he also used this place for yajna. The lake has ghat's all around and famous ones are Bharma ghat and Savitri ghat.

The night view is even more amazing

We spent some time sitting at ghat, enjoying and looking at colourful relegious followers.
"Rajasthan is spiritual and royal. If life’s chaos is stressing you out, you’ll feel so at peace here. See a temple, explore the lake, you can chill out and just enjoy!"

Then we walked through the street towards the bharma temple. Its best to shop for some knick knacks from shop which sell pottery, Rajasthani silk clothes are both cooling , lightweight and fashion friendly , artificial jewellery and leather good  are other items travelers like to take home.

Pushkar is a relatively sedate, laidback and tourist friendly town, where getting around is easy because most things are in walking distance.

Other than Lord bharma temple and the lake , the best lookout in puskar city can be considered as “ Savitri Mandir ”  While Savitri Mandir itself, isn’t much more than a simple temple, hiking to it will gain you the best lookout spot in all of Pushkar. You can get a great 360 degree view of the surrounding valleys and overlook the awesomeness of the camel grounds.

The climb to the top should take you anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour if you take the stairway, we rather choose to take the ropeway, to make it adventurous and to add little more excitement to the trip. Plan to go late afternoon so you can be there to snap some mean selfies against the sunset.

How about a cup of coffee and a sunset view?? Will that sound as perfect evening to you??

The Lake view cake's viiew

“The pushkar talk” will be incomplete without mentioning the lake view cake’s, take it as the literal meaning and there is a cafĂ© named as #cafelakeviewpuskar. Just not the view but there is much more to feel there "Chanting of mantra, tubla classes, evening arti and such acivities " will all be just perfect to make your mind calm and peaceful, can feel the true happiness within one self :")
PS: The food and the view was incredible.

Apart for above mentioned visits, this vibrant town is best known to tourist for its Annual Camel Fair , the biggest animal-trading fair in INDIA. So apparently the best time to visit pushkar is November at the time of fair to see more colour's of the city.
